Boeing 747SP EP-IAC c/n: 21093
EP-IAC experienced an hydraulic failure in China back in 2004 and was made operational again. When I saw it personally in IKA – Imam Khomeini Airport in Tehran back in 2012 it looked so good. Huge Flatscreen TV’s inside instead of the usual old projector screens. And newly painted looking very fresh.
So, at least I’m hoping for a return into operational service at one time…
The four Iran Air 747SP have been moved from their previous storage location. There are now here https://www.google.com/maps/@35.7045472,51.2934418,1293m/data=!3m1!1e3 over near the dirt piles away from the other stored aircraft.
