DEFINITIONS
In Service- Aircraft being actively maintained in flight ready condition, and is
periodically being flown.
Stored- Aircraft is not actively being flown, but is being maintained in a
serviceable condition.
WFU- Withdrawn From Use. No longer airworthy and unlikely to fly again, but mostly intact.
Derelict- Aircraft has either been abandoned/neglected by the owner. Return to service unlikely. Ownership my be unclear.
Being Modified- Aircraft is undergoing substantial structural or interior
modifications, but will likely return to flight.
Being Repaired- Aircraft is in heavy maintenance or is being substantially
repaired.
Scrapped- Airframe and/or wings have been broken apart. Little or no substantial
parts of aircraft remain. Return to airworthiness is
impossible.
